NGO Support Program
Transform with Love
for mission-driven organizations ready to lead with love instead of fear
The Cost of Leading without Love
A social worker learns by phone that a client she’d cared for over many years passed away of natural causes - then is expected to hang up and get back to work. A teacher is assaulted in the classroom and, once the student is removed, is expected to keep teaching as if nothing happened. A non-profit director hasn’t taken a day off in years, because too many people are relying on her — and she’s quietly falling apart.
These aren’t rare stories. They’re the norm in social services, education, healthcare, and community-serving organizations across the country. Fear is the default leadership practice in these sectors - and it costs people, trust, and the very work they are trying to sustain.
Our Transform with Love Program exists to change that.
What Transform with Love Is
Transform with Love is the Center for a Loving Workplace’s direct-support program for non-profit organizations. We provide funded, customized Loving Workplace services — training, coaching, facilitation, culture enrichment, relationship repair and other services — to help mission-driven leaders and teams build non-profit workplaces grounded in love rather than fear.
We believe organizations don’t have to choose between caring for the people they serve and caring for the people who serve. When both are true, people and results flourish together.
How Engagement Works
Every Transform with Love client relationship follows the same four-phase rhythm, shaped around the organization’s real story, opportunities, strengths, and needs.
The Phases and What Happens
Discovery: We listen to leadership, staff, and board, to learn about your team’s history, culture, and current dynamics.
Design: We build a tailored plan, the right mix of coaching, facilitated conversations, training, and planning for your specific goals.
Delivery: We do the work together step by step, grounded in our Loving Workplace Principles.
Debrief: We close out the work with honor and reflection, understanding what has changed, learning from the experience together, and identifying what comes next.
All of this is grounded in our 10 Loving Workplace Principles - from honoring the whole person, to fostering safety, to creating space for healing and repair. We live these with you.
The Impact We’re Building Toward
Organizations that lead with love see less turnover, more trust, and teams with the resilience to keep showing up for the people they serve. Our near-term goal is simple: by the end of 2026, we want to be walking alongside four nonprofit organizations that are Transform with Love Program clients, experiencing the impact of more love, and demonstrating what’s possible when caregiving organizations receive the same care they give to others.
For Nonprofit Leaders and Organizations: Is Transform with Love right for you?
You don't need to have it all figured out to reach out. Many of the organizations that need this support most are the ones stretched thinnest — growing faster than their infrastructure, navigating conflict without the bandwidth to address it, or running on the goodwill of leaders who haven't had a real break in years.
Here’s how it works:
Start a conversation. Reach out to us — no application required yet. We'll set up an informal call to hear your story.
Talk it through together. We'll ask about what's working, what's hard, and what brought you to reach out now. This is a listening conversation, not an interview.
Apply, if it's a fit. If there's alignment, we'll invite you to complete a short formal application.
Get matched with funding. Because our Transform with Love Program is donor-funded, most partner organizations pay little to nothing directly for services.
Begin the work. Together, we move through Discovery, Design, Delivery, and Debrief — at a pace that respects your team's capacity.

For Donors and Philanthropists: Fund a Loving Workplace
Grants have been cut. Budgets have been slashed. And the organizations doing some of society's hardest, most human work — caring for the sick, the vulnerable, the food-insecure, the grieving, and the oppressed — are being asked to do it with less, while giving everything they have.
Your support funds direct, customized leadership and organizational services for the leaders, teams, and boards who need it most.
When you fund a Transform with Love client, you're not funding a workshop or a one-time training. You're funding a sustained relationship — coaching, facilitation, learning, and repair work — for an organization working to build a culture that can actually hold the weight of its mission.
Ways to Get Involved
Fund a full partnership. Sponsor one nonprofit's complete Transform with Love engagement, from Discovery through Debrief.
Fund a phase. Support a specific phase of the work — Discovery, Design, Delivery, or Debrief — for a client organization.
Give to the general fund. Contribute to CLW's broader capacity to identify, accept, and support client organizations.
Partner with us. Foundations and philanthropic organizations interested in a deeper, ongoing relationship are invited to reach out directly.
Every donor is invited into the story of the organization they help fund — with appropriate confidentiality — so you can see the real impact of your generosity.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this cost our nonprofit anything? Most Transform with Love engagements are fully or substantially funded through CLW's donor community. Any direct cost, if applicable, is discussed openly before an agreement is signed.
How do donors know their gift is making a difference? With each partner organization's consent, CLW shares appropriate updates and stories from the engagement — always with confidentiality and sensitivity honored first.
What if our organization isn't "ready" yet? Readiness doesn't mean having it all together — it means being open to honest conversation and change. Many organizations that reach out are in the middle of real challenges. That's exactly who this program is for.
How long does an engagement take? It depends on the organization's needs and goals, and is shaped collaboratively during the Discovery and Design phases.
