New CLO Strengthens Our Learning Capacity

As the Center for a Loving Workplace continues to shift strategically, we’re paying close attention to what the work is asking of us.

At the heart of our mission is learning.
We aim to help leaders and teams learn how to make love actionable in their work, so they build workplaces that are more human, just, and successful.

To support this focus, we are excited to share that we have established a Chief Learning Officer role, and Joanne Lee, MA, is generously stepping into this role in a volunteer capacity. Learn more about Joanne on LinkedIn.

This role exists in service of our vision:

Transforming workplaces with the multi-faceted power of Love so that organizations and people flourish.

The Chief Learning Officer will help to ensure that learning at the Center is well-planned and coherent, grounded in research, practical and impactful, and yes, enjoyable, too!

The CLO stewards our learning experiences and practices so these continue to reflect care, clarity, and integrity.

Joanne brings extensive experience, knowledge, and skills to this role. We are inspired by her thoughtful, values-aligned approach to learning and development. She is committed to equity and accessibility, and to making love actionable in real workplaces.

In the coming months, you’ll see how this added capacity helps us create a comprehensive strategy, consistent approach, and expanded work to support more leaders and teams in practicing love at work.
